Our classes will expose you to the art of tango lyrics, the music, the dance and the passion
that ignites the culture behind it.
Argentine tango is all about the music and the interpretation of it throughout the human interaction at an emotional and spiritual level.
We each sign for tango lessons for any number of reasons, with any number of expectations.
Perhaps just the simple desire to enjoy the act of dancing. Tango however, has a will of it's own. It is when tango chooses you that the real journey begins. What is found in tango far exceeds the imagination. You soon discover an Art form, which is in itself a living language.
You are introduced to and begin to experience a robust culture, rich with history, character and emotion. In mere weeks you begin to revel an inner self which, until Tango came along, had no fertile ground in which to bloom.
Tango is the dance which taps into the universal human need to connect on a much deeper level. A level seldom reached in our every day lives. It gives us the chance to share a common space with another person. Tango provides us with a time and place to be what we truly are in the presence of others.
